Creme RC
Remote Controllable Bus Compressor and Mastering Equalizer
Tegeler Audio Creme has become a modern classic - VCA compression in uncompromising sound quality, bundled with sound refinement at the highest level thanks to passive EQ based on the proven Pultec principle. The combination you've been looking for to add that decisive nuance to your mix or mastering.
With the Creme RC, we are taking this recipe for success to the next level, because it combines two worlds - analog sound and digital control - into a perfect symbiosis. Thanks to motorized potentiometers you save the annoying work of recalling your settings by hand, if you have to edit a session again afterwards. As soon as you open your project, the corresponding Creme RC plugin ensures that all knobs automatically turn to the correct position. Automate individual parameters in the arrangement? No problem with the Creme RC.
Even while mixing, the Creme gives you an idea with a slight treble and bass boost and a few dB of compression, how the mix will sound after mastering. This way you can easily find the right volume balance for your individual sounds, especially the voices. The order of EQ and compressor is also switchable, making the Creme RC an always flexible helper in mixing and mastering.
The Compressor
Whether you just want to thicken your track gently and inaudibly, or pack a punch, maybe even give it a rhythmic punch, the Creme RC's VCA compressor can handle it all with ease.
Its powerful and characteristic sound can elevate any mix to a new level. The compression runs very musically and the sound always remains transparent, with the individual instruments more easily find their place in the mix. The often lamented loss of treble in compression applications does not occur here at all, rather the signal seems like treated with an exciter to sound a bit more brilliant.
The bass range is tight and seems as if from a single mold, the lower mids become fuller without mud, the entire midrange is more articulate and cleaner. The spatial imaging also gains air and precision.
The switchable side-chain high-pass filter ensures that, if necessary, even violent bass nothing to pump. In addition to the classic 60Hz and 120Hz filters, there is now an additional 200Hz filter in the side-chain.
Creme Mode
The Creme RC's compressor brings yet another new cherry on top. For even more kicking bass and fresher treble, Tegeler has used their experience from the Schwerkraftmaschine and designed the Creme mode together with some Berlin artists.
In addition to the classic auto mode, there is hereby an alternative to the intelligent release automatic. The Creme mode reacts a little faster and more aggressive and is thus perfectly suited to the requirements of modern music styles.

The Equalizer
Passive equalizers with their elaborate circuits of coils and capacitors are still among the most popular sound makers when it comes to sum processing.
The filter circuit of the original Pultec already made the Classic Equalizer a successful sound machine. For this reason, we have also selected it as the basis for the EQ of the Creme RC and carefully revised this. Not necessary controls were replaced by fixed values, for the mix bus less useful frequencies were shut down.
No other EQ type manages to sound good in almost every setting. Smooth and silky highs worthy of the name. A low-frequency boost that gives the mix a tight foundation and thrust without squelching everything.
For even more adjustment options, the Creme RC has been greatly increased the intermediate steps of the selectable frequencies.
The result is an EQ that you should have heard. If you've heard it once, you'd regret its absence. If you've never heard it, you've always been looking for it anyway.
